Microsoft launched the Turkish version of its Office 2010 suite of programs Friday, after the product’s Beta version was tested by 8 million users.
According to a written statement from Microsoft, the suite of programs, which has been used by corporate clients since May, was now being released at technology markets and Microsoft business partners’ stores for individual use purchase.
The suite of programs has been released in three different packages, designed for different kinds of users, such as individuals, schools and businesses. Microsoft is also set to launch the Turkish version of Office Web Applications in December, which enables web-based application of Office programs such as Word and Excel.
Microsoft also is launching its so-called “product key card” to facilitate the cheaper purchase of Office 2010 if registered users purchase new computers. The product key card will be able to be purchased at any time, independent of a computer purchase, and allows rapid installation of the suit of programs purchased on those computers where Office 2010 was previously uploaded.
