Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman has announced that Israel has no intentions to deliver the apology anticipated by Turkey for the violent raid by Israeli forces on an aid flotilla, which resulted in the deaths of nine Turks.
Speaking to the press during a trip to the Balkan state Latvia, Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Lieberman expressed that Israel has no intentions of issuing an apology to Turkey.
The Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister went on to state that they believed apologizing would be ‘contrary to reality.’
This announcement by Israel came after Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu had stated: “If an international investigation is not opened up on the raid, we will cut ties with Israel.”
