The Serbia Assembly met yesterday prior to Prime Minister Erdoğan’s arrival and decided to lift visa regulations with Turkey.
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Rasim Ljajic, who is of Bosnia heritage, was the initiating force of the acceptance by the Serbian government to lift visa requirements for Turkish nationals prior to Prime Minister Erdoğan’s visit to Serbia. The move is anticipated to reflect positively on mutual relations.
The protocol signed with Serbia marks the 62nd country of which visa requirements have been lifted with Turkey
