The parents of the Gazan child, Alam and Fatma Abujaarad stated plans to hang a Turkish flag from their home.

Born with a heart anomaly, baby Seraj was brought to Turkey when he was unable to receive treatment in his native Gaza. Having been released from intensive care after 35 days, he has now been reunited with his parents. According to Turkish doctors, due to the angio-type surgery, Seraj will not require any form of medical intervention for the next three to four months. Seraj, which had turned a shade of blue die to the illness, has now gained 400 grams and is stated to be doing well. When he turns two years old, he will have to have heart surgery after which he will recover fully.
