| The Greek government has harshly condemned the Molotov cocktail attack on a Turkish consulate located in the Greek city of Thessalonica. Greece’s government spokesman Yorgos Petalotis has announced the government’s condemnation of the attack. Perpetrators on motorcycles threw three Molotov Cocktails into the courtyard of the Turkish Consulate at 04:00 am yesterday morning. One set the vines on fire, one fell into the courtyard and went out and the other hit the wall. Firefighting teams came to extinguish the fire before it grew. According to the information obtained, the perpetrators responsible for throwing the Molotov cocktails had previously argued with Greek police in charge of protecting the consulate. The building is located right next to the home where Turkey’s historically famous founder Atatürk was born. |
