| Production in the industry sector fell 5.5 percent in September in Turkey compared with the same month of the previous year, TUIK said.
Production in the manufacturing industry declined 6.4 percent, while the fall in the mining is 4.3 percent, it said.
The production in electric, gas and water sector rose 1.6 percent, TUIK added.
